Help Thy Neighbor Ministries, Inc. is Florida's first
independent faith based volunteer center. The concept
for the center was first conceived in 2004 after Hurricane Ivan
devastated most of the state's coastline. Members of local churches
stepped up to the challenge of restoring lives and revitalizing
property; giving hope to many whom were left devastated and
homeless. Often, this was done in the manner of the faith based
community; with bare hands and a soft heart. Later, in 2005,
this faith based volunteering concept manifested into a permanent
entity of HTNM, Inc. |
